smatterings from the trip

no time to do proper blog updates.  So i'll just post some more pics from random points in the trip.

Trip leader in the middle of nowhere, Utah, enroute to the Arches nat'l park.  umm... they'll be some actual content here hopefully in the next couple days.

Where to begin?

So the road trip has been going on for twelve days.  We went west.  I want to see mountains again, Gandalf, mountains!  Well, we saw mountains alright.  Right now we're in a small town in Utah.  Tonight I learned how to ride a motorcycle.



We went to Yellowstone Nat'l Park.  At the visitor center at Old Faithful geyser there was a giant Saint Bernard.

I decided to climb into the rafters while waiting for old faithful to do its thing.

people by and large didn't pay much heed.
